What Demo Mode is
A recorded replay of the real app that runs with the internet switched off.
make_snapshots.py runs the complete pipeline and AI synthesis for a few chosen
stocks, then freezes everything — the tool events, the evidence pack, the model's output —
into JSON on disk. This page reads those files and renders them through
render_deepdive.js: the same module the live page uses. Not a mock-up, not a screenshot.

Three reasons it exists: demos can't fail (no network, no rate limit, no outage);
tool events replay at a deliberate pace so an audience can actually read them; and it shows edge
cases on demand — you can't summon a four-red-flag stock when you need one.
